pop musicThe music of the 90's was most definitely considered as the most diverse in comparison to other decades of music in the21st Century. The 1980's range of music was more commonly referred to as synthpop, hair metal and classic rock, whereas the 1990's range included house music, alternative rock, grunge and the newly formed gangster rap and hip hop. The creation of these different types of genres lead to the appearance of pop boy and girl bands such as the Spice Girls, East 17, Take That and Bewitched. Pop singers from the 80's, such as Kylie Minogue, even began changing their style as they moved into the 90's. Today Kylie's music is far different than it was when she first came onto the scene in the 80's with her top selling single 'I should be so lucky'. Pictured right is herself on stage with Justin Timberlake.
